Illuminated stair nosings have been available for many years using LEDs but they have always been bulky, complicated, high maintenance and expensive. LumaGrip™ is set to change all this with a range of illuminated inserts that replace existing infill in standard Aluminium and uPVC nosings.
LumaGrip™ uses Light Tape’s patented Electroluminescent technology combined with a transparent, anti slip 50mm wide tread that is illuminated without glare and can be seen when going both up and down the stairs. This product has also been designed to comply with DDA /disabled access which makes it ideal for visually impaired people.
LumaGrip™ also comes with the added benefits of having a higher anti-slip rating and a glare free illumination.LumaGrip™ Illuminated Anti-Slip inserts have been developed to fit into standard Aluminium and uPVC profiles, timber stairs and decking. LumaGrip™ is available in a variety of sizes with either 6mm and 12mm Light Tape® illuminated strips for indoor applications come in a variety of Light Tape® colours.
